UGH Xers are so pathetic.

Ugh, why am I so mysterious?
Why do you guys blame generations on everything?

Yes, because nothing makes more sense than blaming a whole age range of people. There is no diversity of opinion of action within a ten to twenty year range, so generalizations are pretty safe to make.

Hmmm do they sell casa dragones in your region? Tis a bit more expensive but very good
On par with that budget (at least here) you can get a milagro, perhaps a maestro Dobel (yum) or a 1800. Even a don julio might approach it (you see 35 dollars is a lot of money for booze)
Casa dragones: good tequila is good tequila.

This is the appropriate response.

My current favorite (for the money) is Olmeca Altos, around $25 for 750ml. I know Milagro (good) but haven’t tried Casa Dobel. I’m not a big 1800 fan, though.
I usually drink reposado, the best combo of mixing vs sipping. But I enjoy it all! Gracias por los consejos.

Casa dragones is earning awards left and right, but its cristalino. Maestro dobel is another brand, and I like it OK. They also do reposado but really they are famous for the cristalino.
I don’t drink much reposado (or tequila in general) to be fair, but if you like reposado you cannot go wrong with reserva de la familia (though its insanely expensive)

I’m pretty practical (read: cheap) so if reposado is the same price as plata, I feel like it’s a bargain. I don’t know if plata/blanco is the same as cristalino, since the marketing varies by region. Anejo is always a lot more, understandably. It’s like an entirely different drink.

I’m not much of a geek to be honest, so take my words with a grain of salt..
but yeah, añejo tends to be more expensive, however, I don’t think much of the cheap tequila makes it across the border.. you guys tend to get the fancy stuff only...

I met my wife 18 years ago while taking shots of Montezuma. And I’ll never forget Pepe Lopez. Just awful...yes, we get plenty of cheap, terrible liquor.
